Frequently Asked Questions
How do I order your training courses from your online platform?
Please view the following video which will provide instructions on how to place your purchase:
Why are some of your course listed as re-certification courses?
For high risk courses such as confined space entry and fall protection training, we recommend that NEW participants (an employee's first time taking the course) take a classroom course prior to our online course. If you see the word RECERTIFICATION listed under the training - this means - that employees can take our training for recertification purposes and only if they have taken classroom training with an instructor in the past.
On the other hand, any employee (new or experienced) can take our online mobile equipment training (i.e. aerial lift, scissor lift, forklift) as these courses are CSA compliant.
How are OHS2go.com and OHSmanuals.ca affiliated?
Both of these organizations are sister companies and are owned by the same partners. OHS2go.com is a subsidiary company from our parent company OHSmanuals.ca. Our companies have been in business for over 20 years and are recognized by numerous government authorities across Canada.
How do I get certified with your online mobile equipment training (i.e. fork lift, aerial lift, skid steer, excavator, etc)?
All our mobile equipment online certification courses are CSA approved training courses which is a OHS regulation requirement for each province across Canada. OHS regulations in all provinces across Canada follow the CSA standards for mobile equipment operation. Upon successful completion of any of our mobile equipment online courses, a certificate of completion will be available to download and print immediately. You will receive your complete and full certification after the theory portion of the course.
However in order to finalize your certification, a practical evaluation needs to be completed at some point. So how is this done through an online course? It's quite easy actually. Once you complete the theory portion of the course, a practical evaluation checklist will be provided to you to download. You will provide this checklist to any supervisor across Canada (i.e. your current employer or future employer) and he/she can provide you with the practical evaluation (instructions are provided on how to do so and so is a complete easy to follow checklist). Once the practical portion of the course is completed by your Supervisor - keep the completed and signed checklist with you for record keeping. The practical evaluation should take no more than 30 to 35 minutes.
Are OHS2go.com's online safety courses compliant in Canada?
Yes all our courses are up to date with the latest CSA standards and Provincial Occupational Health and Safety Regulations across British Columbia, Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. As standards and regulations change we continuously update our courses accordingly.
Upon completion of the course, can the course certificates be printed?
